The MSD 8252 Blaster HVC Ignition Coil is engineered for high-RPM, long-duration racing applications such as circle track and road course competition. Designed specifically to pair with MSD 6-Series ignition controls, it utilizes an advanced E-core closed magnetic path that minimizes electrical loss, maximizes energy transfer, and keeps operating temperatures low even under sustained high-load conditions.

Features:

  • CARB E.O. Approved
  • Spark plug style terminal and threaded brass primary studs
  • Works with electronic ignitions and MSD Ignition Controls (ballast resistor required for points systems)
  • Designed for high rpm, long duration applications
  • 100:1 turns ratio and lower primary resistance produce high voltage output
  • Supplied with rubber shock mounts
  • Windings are encased in blue epoxy and secured with extruded brackets
